San Francisco Victorian

This is my entry for the Different Strokes From Different Folks challenge. You can see other entries by clicking on the link in my sidebar.

The photo was posted by Karin Jurick and shows an interesting Victorian building. I have liked this type of architecture and painted one some years ago and called it a Victorian Romance.
Watercolor on AquariusII paper 11" x 14" unframed $60 Collected.

I love the loose way that you interpreted the photo! Wish I could paint like this!

This is great. I like the rich colors you achieved.

I love it too. Your color choice and the way you've vignetted it at the bottom--the trees are great too!

Jo, Laura
Thank you. Color like this and just leaving some white paper are things I enjoy doing. It was fun.

Warm colors balanced by the cool sky, loose unfussy structure... what's not to like? Makes for a lovely painting. Nice job!
