Virtual Sketch Date Jan 09

This is my submission for the January challenge for Virtual Sketch Date. You can see all of the ones who participated in the link on my sidebar starting Sunday, January 25.
The photo reference was submitted by Jeanette Jobson and is of a Clementine. I tell you that because you might not know by my interpretation.
This is my first fruit painting. So I bless it and release it.

Watercolor on arches paper 5" x 7"

That is soooo funny! Bless and release! I will have to steal that from you! I knew right away that it was a lovely type of apple - I mean orange! Wonderful painting. I love it!

Well, I absolutely love it! Beautiful darks (coming from a watercolorist who covets them!)
