Family at the Beach, DSFDF challenge

This is my painting of the subject that Karin Jurick gave on her blog: Different Strokes from Different Folks for this two week period. You can see all of the entries as they are posted. There is a link on my side bar. I continue to do studies for Deborah Paris online workshop. Interesting work on Landscapes.

This is a wonderful, cheerful painting. I love the impressionist style and the colorful blue.

Myra and Carol,

I appreciate your comments on my painting. It was fun to paint for someone who doesn't often paint figures.

HI Peggy, Nice job on the challenge, I may give it a try. I love your last painting too of the flowers, soooo nice.

What a lovely painting Peggy. I admire painters that can capture the ocean the way you do. I visited two artists last week who have a studio overlooking the sea. Such an idyllic setting for any painter.
